Hey everyone. I need some help on this one. This morning I went out and started my truck and was warming it up. After about 10 min, I jump in and as soon as I touched the gas, it died. I know it can be a sensor, but my concern on this one is that now my dp tuner is not on now. Did I lose a computer? Any ideas?

Did you bump the switcher by chance? Does the switch lite up?
Check fuse #30 if your fuel bowl heater shorted it would blow the fuse which is also for your power to the PCM .If so unplug the heater and replace the fuse.

This only happens when you are 150 miles from anyone, and no tools.. just a cell phone and a list of friends to call..flash backs..
Thanks for all of the great ideas. I will try to pull the chip tonight and see if that is the issue. The DP tuner was lighting up just fine until it died (i had it in stock) and now the switch is completly dead. Another thing I noticed is now the "wait to start" light isn't coming on either.
I am actually hoping for a fuse, so I will check this tonight as well. As for temperature, it was probably 40 out, so I don't gelled fuel is the issue as the DP would still light up if that was the issue. The batteries might be a bit low as the truck has been a little sluggish to start recently. I will check that out tonight. As for the battery thing, if the batteries are weak and the DP doesn't power up, will that stop the truck from running?
The thing that scared me was the the truck was running for 10 minutes and as soon as I started moving, it completely died and doesn't fire when I turn it over. Sounds like it might be a loose connection with the DP, but would that stop it from running like that?
This definitely was not the way I wanted to start the week out. Hopefully it is an easy fix. Thanks everyone for chiming in. I appreicate it!
Sounds like the 30AMP fuse that not only controls the fuel bowl heater but the PCM as well.
With no WTS light and the DP Tuner not lighting up at all seems to me like no power to the PCM.
Unplug the fuel bowl heater harness, replace the fuse and try again.
