Quick Question. Have anyone that has done the hydroboost brake system mod on a 88-97 ford truck used a newer hydrobooster. Like one off of a 99 or newer truck.

Thanks for that thread. I didn't see anything in there that I didn't alreadly know.
I did do some more searching and I think I found the answer. I don't think it will work with out some mods to the fire wall. The stud are in different places.
The top two studs on a 92 super duty are about equal in height with the push rod that goes into the fire wall.
The top two studs on a 99 and newer truck are about 1.5 to 2 inches above the push rod.
This info was taken from a parts store pix on a web site. So I'm not realy sure on the messurements. I think it would be more mods then I want to do so I will just get one from a 88-97 truck.
