its good to have you guys on here!
crazy, i love the idea of a tech section, i can think of a few categories that might belong there, and others can pitch in more: 4x4 conversions, RV conversions (with floorplans, pics, wiring tech, etc), work van stuff with built-in toolboxes and the like (also with floorplans, etc), body stuff (door issues, roofs caving in, etc)...
i'm sure others will toss in more ideas, what i have there it a combination of stuff i would find useful and stuff that i notice i see a lot of questions about here.
i figure engine-specific tech stuff can be found on the engine-specific pages - i frequent here and the IDI forum, i've seen you over there a bit.

Josh that's a great idea tech folder wise----the variations of our vans seem extensive from the bare bones cargo/work vans to the more elaborate conversion or RV type set ups. As a tradesman I'd love to see other vans outfitted, perhaps stealing a few good ideas on products or shelves/bins/drawers etc.

Doors, windows and other body-specific issues would also be nice for those new to a van or someone just now experiencing a somewhat common problem.

Engine/transmission stuff have their own forums which as you say is good enough.

Welcome Tom & John!

Thanks for stepping up, you're a welcome addition.

I'm in the Work Van catagory, with a pention for things that really work(Old Engineer). For the tech folder, I'd like to nominate "A Real Econoline Steering Fix". When I joined, it was the first thread that got me excited about improving my van. I'd been away from vans for about 20 years, and this forum really helped me re-gain some perspective.
