I am in need of some help, if you dont mind. I am looking into installing a gooseneck hitch on a 14ft flatbed truck. The only problem I can find is that by installing the hitch so I can hook up the trailer and have clearance space between the truck and trailer, I would have to install the hitch behind the rear axle. I dont think this is such a good idea. Do you all have any thoughts how I could make this work and yet still be safe? Maybe how to install hitch in front of rear axle, but yet have it so trailer will still have safe room to hook up. Thank you for all your help, and have a great day!!! Does this all make sense?
Ok, It has taken me a while to get back to this, sorry about that. But we actually quit that project a few months ago. Thank you all for your help though. Hope ya have a great day!!
