I've actually never had to replace the rear glass but it cant be any more difficult than the windshield is. Im sure they make a tool for it somewhere. but we usually just take a bigger sewing needle and some very thin (but durable) wire, and have 2 people (one on the hood, one on the inside). Take the wire and thread it through the needle and then wrap the wire around itself behind the eye of the needle and push the needle through the gasket seal of the windshield. I think its easier to go from the outside to the inside. Then have the person on the inside pull the wire through and then cut the wire behind the needle so you dont stab yourself. and run the wire through the gasket around the needle like you're cutting cheese. and then the windshield should come right out.

Regarding back glass removal. It should just work it's self out with a screw driver. Prying it out of the seal. I poped out a rear glass in a toyota and had never done it before. It was very easy. And replacing it was just the same. If you run into trouble the kid across the street works for a mobile auto glass chain. I'll ask him your question.

puttin it back in just run a lengh of string all the way around and start part of the rubber and have someone on the outside holding the window while you on the inside pull the string pulling the rubber over the metal lip

No point is removing the windshield and trying to save it, unless it is BRAND NEW. Yours may not be broken but I am sure it is sandblasted over the years. A new one installed is about $250

Have not done front, but removed 2 rears and re-installed in about 15-20 minutes. Soapy water in a spray bottle helps a great deal. One person in cab, other in bed of truck. Something flexible to pop out seal, i used a long handled plastic "putty knife".

You can use a screwdriver for the trim on the front windshield, but I wouldnt reccomend it. I tried to do that once, and it was very frustrating, and I ended up just scrapping the idea.

Im sure the tool is pretty cheap now a days too.
