Thanks, If you saw the truck you would think its fine, but I want to coat the backside of the new panels in POR 15 and do it right so I don't have rust issues in the future.
This is how it looks now, not bad, but up close you can see the rust and I want to stop it where it is.
Dont forget the radiator support is most likely rotten out too. FORD is the ONLY place you can get a Diesel radiator support. LMC has a listing for a diesel one but it is NOT. No aftermaket company makes one
It has a little rust but its not completely gone(I think).
take a GOOD look. They are the FIRST thing to go on these trucks. And BTW Ford is the ONLY place to get a Diesel rad support to the tune of $711 list price
I understand what you would like to do as far as stopping the rust, but since it has already started, it is very difficult to stop. <O</O water, iron, oxygen= rust<O</O You have to eliminate one of the above items to stop the rust. <O</O Sealing over the top also traps rust inside. The products that "claim" they can turn rust back into metal are lies...Chemistry does not work that way. You can try to seal out moisture or try to seal out oxygen. <O</O

Does anyone know if the original pin striping for a 1995 F250 is still available? I was going to have the dually fenders painted and the body shop told me that the pin stripes are no longer available, but I really don't want to lose those!

It has been obsoleted for YEARS. Even if you find some, I would be VERY leary of the glue being any good for all these years.
I went to my local Sign shop and had them cut me out Vinyl that matches the OEM stripe. The WHOLE truck was $100
