I'd have to have a lot of over time. $9 x 40 hours is $360 a week. Adjusted net monthly is $1350.00 I would have to give up health insurance ($420 a month), cable tv, internet, cell phone, money I have going into savings, and my trips.
if my house, was paid for, my car was economical and I only had one, we cancelled cable, internet, home phone, used cloth diapers and a hand crank well, solar panels for heat, no A/C, only ate Ramen Noodles and ate generic hot dogs, I imagine it would come pretty close but I imagine we would have to do some extreme couponing, or something to make it work.
I am not willing to do any of those except for the solar panels, I strive to have solar panels on a house that I own some day. I think they are awesome!
I could rent an appartment for less than my house payment. And then no up keep either. But then there would be no Ben my dog. That would be cheeper. But most likely I'd get stuff stolen with out him to protect it. Could get rid of all my stuff. Black Star, and either Green or Jr. But Green and Jr. only cost about $200 each a year for taxes, insurance, and registration. All my tools, camping gear, old truck parts, extra wheels and tires. I could do it and keep phone and cable tv/internet. But for an old guy it be difficult. Ifin I was a young feller an didn't have all the stuff I have now I could do it purdy easy. Wouldn't have anything worth taking so no need to have a dog.
I kind of wish I could find me one of those 9.00 per hour jobs that would work around my schedule, for play money, and new parts money. Kind of one of those jobs that just pay ya the flat rate for whatever time you can put in, and they don't count on you being there every week, or day. Know of any jobs like that?
