Cruise Control
I recently had to have my 1986 ford ranger V6 2.9L taken in to get it fixed. The problem was that my gear shift had broken off and to fix it they had to drop the transmission. We don't have the tools to do so so we sent it in. After I got it back from Reno, and checked all the fluids, including doing an oil change on the drive back it was found that the cruise control no longer works. I've found a disconnected wire, however I am not sure what it does or if it is the cause of the problem. once I can find a good flash light I'll post a picture of it. Can anyone help with fixing this?

good luck with june worst dealership fixing their mistake. need a wire color and location for starters. the cruise worked in mine until the conversion, but all the stuff is still there and I have schematics. I'll make it work again after I register it.
I am at a loss as to why they had to drop the tranny to fix the shifter.
