Does GPR have a fuse?

Does anyone know if the glow plug relay has a fuse. I might have crossed some of the wires to the relay....er not really crossed but a fuse link wire of three might have been to the wrong place. The "wait to light" light won't come on now that I replaced the gpr with the 109. The offset threw me for a loop as well as the two side terminals with multiple wires and a bracket that crosses the top of the gpr with a hole for one of the large terminals. Help me if you can. Stuck.

30

Not sure about the fuse on the GPR, but I am sure it has one some where. The no WTS light indicates the 30 amp fuse, is, uhh, position 21 i believe? under the dash is blown, that is normally related to the fuel bowl heater shorting out, but that is the symptom. It is a green fuse, 30 amp, check it if you arent geting the WTS light.

Can you post a picture of the relay you are installing? Your description doesn't sound like that of the right relay.

There is a fusible link that goes to the PCM, that there have been a few with threads that essentially fried the GP output from the PCM which will do what you describe in your other thread. Those that have had the issue generally went with a manually activated GPR at that point, or replaced the PCM.

Yes...that is what it looks like and reinstalled the old GPR. I need to see how the wiring goes with the shunt. I'll check those fuses right now. I'm wondering if I shorted out something. The truck turns over fine but no wts light.

It looks like there is an brownish thicker wire and a blue thin wire on the right bottom shunt terminal and a yellow thicker wire and blue thin wire on the left shunt terminal. On the gpr, orange small terminal left and red small terminal right. The two large terminals don't have the connections. Which are they

30 Amp fuse in 30 slot is still good. It is the only 30 amp fuse. When I run my obd I can only get an "err" message and no reading? PCM shot??? Did I fry it?

Make sure your cigarette lighter is working, same as the OBDII port, for power, kind of sounding like a bad PCM though.

HERE IS A PIC OF WHAT I HAVE SET UP NOW. I DON'T BELIEVE IT IS CORRECT. UNLESS SOMEONE HAS THE SHUNT I WON'T KNOW. A FRIEND CAME BY WITH HIS 2002 AND IT IS A SIMPLE GPM SET UP WITHOUT THE SHUNT BUT NO HELP. IT LOOKS LIKE THE BROWN WIRE I HAVE AT TOP LEAD (#4) SHOULD GO DOWN BELOW. THE PCM WAS WORKING FINE BEFORE I SCREWED WITH THIS. I HAVE THE DP TUNER. WASN'T THERE A FUSE SOMEWHERE SEPARATE WITH THE TUNER?? WOULD I HAVE FRIED THE PCM BY GETTING ANY OF THESE WIRE WRONG?

The cigarette lighter works BUT I just noticed that the DP Tuner signal to the switch is not coming on. If it is the PCM, any idea how I can diagnose or where to go from here? Thanks.

Check fuses 30 in the cab &24UNDER the hood. Do you have power still to one of the big wires to the GPR?

Fuse 30 is good. Have 12 volts to one of the big wires on GPR. Where is fuse box under hood? Driver side near firewall? Thanks.
