Help pls

Can anyone tell me who the manufacture is for the remote starters that ford uses? More specifically for a 2006 F150, believe its bronze.. in canada if that makes a difference?? Please and thanks. Trying to replace my actual remote without having to pay and arm and a leg for it.

I bought mine off of e-bay. All the ones I have seen say FOMOCO on back and I bet ford has several suppliers. You can program yourself. If you have two keys do yourself a favor and order a third with the remote. you can get it cut for a couple of bucks and program yourself as long as you have two other keys, buying a third can save you $100 if you ever lose an existing key. The destructions are somewhere on this forum.

See the problem is that my truck starter was installed at ford but they want so much money for the remote. Only the button is broke. But if I can find out the manufacturer of it then I might be able to get it a lot cheaper.
