Tire size?

I have a 1997 F-250 HD 460,4x4,auto, (which most of this info does pertain to my question) with 16x8 wheels and Im wondering what is the biggest tire I can fit without lifting it?

Yeah, 33x12.50s will fit. You'll have to trim the corners of the front bumper a bit...

33x12.50's on 8" rims? I hate that look 10" would be better

Actually 12.50's are perfect for the 8" rims. Lets the truck look a little beefy instead of all the trucks you see today with more rim than tire. Not to mention the rim preservation if you actually plan on taking it seriously offroad.

Better chance to stay on the bead with the narrower rim when offroading from what I have read
