I can't make a promise but it would be a great ride. Weather is always nice that time of year so I will try to make it down for it. Maybe jump on the bike and head out for a ride and enjoy the day. I love it standing at the top of the concrete seats feeling the ground shake when the racers go by. Haven't been in a few years but I'm always up for something.

Well, we waited for the rain to stop yesterday. And waited. Didn't stop till well after lunch here. Got to be too late to go so we bagged it. My wife thought we'd be sitting in the rain or they wouldnt be racing. Couldn't convince her otherwise. Hope it was not postponed and yall didnt get soaked.

We did get out later in the day and took a nice bike ride for a couple of hours.

Sorry we missed. Hopefully next time.

 

The rain hit fri. night after I was snug in my bed at the Microtel.(just me, no bed bugs, LOL) I didn't even know it was raining sat. till I turned on the tv and then looked out the window. It stopped around 11:00 and they had the track dry and prep work done at 1:30. The only thing it messed up was the car show, so you made a good decision. They had a few behind the tower on display. The rest of the weekend went great. Got home sun. night at 10:00. We'll have to try again sometime.

 

Glad the rain didn't spoil the whole day at the track. Sounds like a good weekend at the Rock. Hope we can make the next event.

 

Any of you guys going to the Auto Fair at Charlotte motor speedway next weekend? I'm going to be in town and may take the old mustang out there for a little while.

Sounds like a cool event. We'll be wrapped up with soccer and science olympiad. If you make it take some photos and let us know how it went. Have fun.

 

Which are the dates for the Jacksonville show? I believe that the Blueberry festival in Burgaw has a car show; not sure if they still hold this show but you can check their website. The festival for 2012 has already taken place.

 

That show was from this spring. But post up if you know a good one and we'll all try to work it out.

I haven't been able to make a single show or race yet this season. I'd like to catch one.
