tow mirrows help
f250 2001 i want to find mirrors with signals and marker light to i know theres wire issues no biggy just need to find thess mirrow found ones with signals but not both anyone know

My 2004 has both signal and marker lights. Is that a 2001 thing? Either way and as far as I know, mirrors are physically interchangeable from 99 on. It's just the features and the wiring that are different.

They do. You should be able to get aftermarket ones on E-Bay. Cool Vue is the aftermarket one I got to replace the one I busted. It's barely distinguishable from the OEM one on the other side. I don't seem to see Cool Vue on E-Bay anymore, though. I can't attest to the quality of the other brands. You can get OEM ones also, but they are pretty spendy.

Someone on the Excursion forum bought a set of AM Autoparts towing mirrors with power, heat and turn signals and they look good and he likes them. I'm thinking of buying a pair in the future also. It's confusing because they have a pair with heat and turn signals for $267.40 and another pair with power, heat, turn signal and clearance light built in for $305.95. Not sure if OEM offers one with clearance light and one without. Someone with an 03-07 Super Duty would know.

yes they were part num.am-27340101 on the web site 267.40 they have the textured finish we actually bought them off e-bay from am autoparts they listed there for 249 i dont have any pics but they look just like the oem except the lights are led i was really suprised how good the quality was for that price they are a good heavy made mirrors

Not to hijack the thread, but anyone know where to get just the mirror housing for a decent price? Previous owner of my truck must have hit something with the mirror and it is cracked. Don't need the whole mirror, just the plastic housing. Mine is an 05 with factory tow mirrors with turn signal/marker lights.
