Scanguage Freezing

Scanguage Freezing

My Scanguage will occasionally stop updating. The only way to get it to work again is to, turn off the truck and re-start it. Unplugging and replugging the unit does not work. Have any of you guys experienced this?

Seems like mine will freeze up if I try and turn it on B4 the truck turns it on

have you tried to reset the SGII yet

Hey Benny, no I haven't tried to reset. I think that I will loose my x-guages. Do you know if thats true?

No you wont lose your Xgauges

But you will lose your Fuel econmy stuff and I think you might have to program what truck your running on it again

But the x gauges will stay

Have you tried slowing down the Update Rate? The manual says something that if you have the update rate too high, it may run irregular. When I had mine set to "Fast" it would freeze, or not even show readings.

Just a thought.
