We're talking about the same thing, same pin. BPP is Brake Pedal Position switch which signals Brake On or Off.

Drove my truck to work Friday. Worked good all day then quit locking TC on the way home. I kicked the PCM with my foot a couple of times and it started working again. I believe I have something loose on the PCM itself.

Love that troubleshooting technique! I've been know to revert to that technique a time or two in the past with electronic devices. Usually shortly before I discard the electronic device.

I believe your conclusion has merit. A faulty electrical connection somewhere there. Either a broken soldered joint on the circuit board - or perhaps a poor pin connection.

There comes a point when you have tried everything else and frustration kicks in. This time it worked. Most times it doesn't.

Final update: After checking all wiring and sensors, I finally ordered a new PCM. What a difference. Starts quicker, runs smoother and the TC kicks in as it should as well as the cruise control.

It took so long to buy another PCM because the the one I had was less than a year old, but I guess it was defective.
