I would. It won't hurt anything. It may be a long time until you remove those spark plugs again.

I always do. The previous owner of my truck didn't, and they were a bitch to get out of there.

Went to take out first plug and it would only loosen half way. It tightened back up just fine. It didn't want to try and force it. The plug don't seem to be cross threaded. Guess the last owner didnt use anti seize....lol.
Anyone have any suggestions???

Loosen it back up atleast one full turn and spray some WD-40 or equivalent around the threads. That usually does wonders. I would suggest something other than WD-40, but beings it is not completely seized.

Didn't think about WD40, I'll try that. What about using penetrating oil?

WD40 = Penetrating oil. Plenty of other brands too....Liquid Wrench, PB Blaster, AeroKroil, etc.

I have never used anti-seize, All i ever do is dip my finger in oil (new) and coat the threads my grandpa showed me this years ago and i have never had one get stuck or hard to get out. Hmm that would be a good thread lol.....Who has helped you learn or get into workin on your trucks/cars was just a thought lol

94 4.9, I changed my plugs about 10 years ago, no anti seize. when I changed them again recently, #2 won't unscrew just like the OP posted. It'll come out a ways, then get really tight. So I screwed it in again, sprayed best as I could...#2 has some obstructions. Any other tips/hints/suggestions? thanks, mick

No, I'm waiting for spring...my garage is just big enough to hold the F150. Wonder if having the engine at temp before removal will help? Or start spraying it a week before? Or just take it in???
