sounds like a steal to me, if the miles a true and the body is as you say, that thing would go four 4 grand around where i live, id jump all over that deal!

Thanks for that Sleepy, that was my biggest concern. I will get pictures up as soon as I get the truck. Any advice on good wheels to replace the old 16.5''s on there? I know they are split rims.

I would go with 16's. Tons of tire choices. I'm eager to see pics. 1k is a killer price imo

For now unless you are planning any major modifications I agree stick with some nice looking 16's and give them a good rubber wrap since it sounds like it has not had a good set of tires in a long while.

paid $950 for my 77 250 351m 4 speed 2nd owner 55k on the clock but it had a bad motor from the get. sitting in a car port for close at 10 years made it run like crap or was it the JENIOUS that drug it down the road with a tractor to un lock the motor. 1500 in a crate motor and it was a perfect driver till i found a high boy for a frame donar.

With everyone else on this one! sounds like a heck of deal to me, I paid $1100 for my 68 f100 390 SWB. You'll love driving around in it and the looks of awe that people give you as you cruise by are priceless

I paid 9oo for my 74 with not powertrain so anything that runs for me under 2ooo is a Great deal

In my defense it was perfectly what i wanted so the premium price was worth it.
