also...i have your rims pete...we will hook up to get them delivered soon. sorry again guys
I have a friend who just bought a 7.3 in NJ and will be coming up to get it on the 23rd. It needs GP's and he needs an education about 7.3's - since we are bringing him over from the dark-side (he has a couple 6.0's now...).
Got room for another GP project? He can wrench, but since he's flying in, he won't have any tools!
Haven't heard back from the veggie-install girl...
As of now, I will come if I can bust the kiddo's out of school. I've been gone for a few weeks and as much as I love y'all - I won't miss seeing them for the weekend. We would leave Thurs after school and get up there Fri afternoon, then head out Sun afternoon!!
Brownie sucks u can't make it...maybe bill could pick up petes wheels on the way thru?
Jason hoping you make it bud but we all know those boys come first
Im sure wer can handle a set of gps ...they are pretty simple install
Jason you're finding more projects than the rest of us combined. PS: Don't hate on 6leakers. They're a pretty slick setup once you fix em.
If we felt real ambitious we could drop my bumper and do something different from the FRx fitting power steering cooler bypass. I don't quite have the motivation to wrestle my bumper by myself.
I would love to come Saturday to Sunday. But my wife will be at a horse show in PA so I will have my dog. She is supper human friendly, she works with children with special needs at Happy Tails TR. Unfortunately she is not dog friendly, it takes her a while to warm up to other animals. If I can bring her and tie her up/keep her in my truck I am in.

Unless Steve is bringing psycho dog that shouldn't be an issue. That dog isn't anything friendly...

Lol - the veggie system might have been a project, but Rog can handle the wrenchin' on his GP's. He just needs 7.3 knowledge and tools. And he's flying to NJ to buy this truck the day before the GTG!
I might be coming around on the 6leakers, but not sure I'll ever trade my 7.3's for one!
What's this FRx PS bypass you're talking about??? Man, was I naive to think there wouldn't be any rednecks in CT!!! I guess we are everywhere...

Apparently Jacob (3rd grader) has perfect attendance and is trying to get the school's reward for it, so that will be a problem if he can't get 'excused'... His teacher is already fully aware of what we learn on roadtrips - our last trip to PA he brought her back samples of rocks from each state we passed thru. I told him to tell her we'd go to the Statue of Liberty and/or Washington DC. They insist on stopping at Welcome Centers and collecting maps and travel guides from every state, then spend time identifying what they'd like to go see in that state. Yes, we like roadtrips (especially with the cost of fuel being what it is for us )

You've met me before... what did you think I was? Can't have all yuppies in one area... there'd be nobody to actually do stuff without worrying about breaking a nail or some stupid crap.
Last GTG we were playing at Jim's gravel pit some. Well I was showing that stock height trucks can go where lifted trucks can. Which they can... as long as you relocate your power steering cooler. MA Jim had some spare fittings so we bypassed the cooler. Platinum had a quart of ATF and the brotherhood got me back road ready in a matter of minutes. I've yet to fix it past the 5 minute cobbled together fix. Planning to just go from the 3/8 hose to a few loops of 1/2" hose looped up higher and zip tied in place as a cooler instead of an aluminum cooler.
