I have a 2012 F250 4WD Lariat and I get the same message quite often, at least once a week and sometimes several times in one day, I am going to call the dealer to see what is going on, the truck is only a couple of months old and has 5,600 miles on it, the plug is clean.
Any new info yet? My truck did this over the weekend twice. Did not bump switch or anything, started the truck and it lit up on the screen and plug is clean.

haven't had a chance to take it to the dealer yet, but it still comes and goes, it is irritating.
