Exclamation ANNUAL TEXAS GTG PLACES POLL

READ 1st BEFORE VOTING

I'm only giving 4 places that I have found so voting is not all over the place, If you find another better place please suggest quickly and I'll add it to the poll. These places All have, RV, Tent, Lodging, and amenities like that so everyone can stay close if need be, You can stay wherever you like, but this may help in the group gathering later.

All poll places are links for you to check out and see which one you like best

This place was a little further away than the place that won the vote, but I want to have a GTG here one day because this seems like our kind of place especially once i saw BEER GARDEN!! ha ha ha Koyote Ranch - Hill Country Rv Park, Cabin, and Event Venue! Its about 1-1/2 hours WNW from New Braunfels

So if by chance you want to vote on this place click the last option

I will say this also, out of all the places I have called the 2nd to last weekend in May seems to be the best for a large group. it has cheaper pricing and the kidsjust getting out of college and school won't be flooding the places out where we can rent more sites than just a couple in here and there. so start planning around the 18th of May(FRIDAY) to the 20th(SUNDAY) If you are coming in just for the day, the actual main GTG day will be the 19th(SATURDAY) UNLESS OTHER WISE NOTED LATER AFTER VOTING!!

Koyote Ranch looks awesome!!! Even if we don't end up going there I'll probably be making my own trip there sometime this summer. Thanks for letting me know about this place! It's got my vote.

Also I mentioned this in the other thread but I'll repost here. At the Landa location the train that runs through it comes by regularly every 30-40min or so (through the night too) and is stinking loud! Just a heads up.

FYI... I noticed on the website for Potter's Creek that day use is NOT allowed. That may not work for those that want to just come for the G2G.

you would have to pay for a tent site to access for a DAY USE but you can still come, Plus If that is the place that wins the vote, I'm sure I can persuade them to waive that fee for those that need it

I may be a day late and a dollar short, but another park just west of New Braunfels is Guadalupe River State Park on 46. I've never camped there, but have ridden the trails a lot. Nice place. Here's a link to the website: TPWD: Guadalupe River State Park

Yeah, take lots of pics guys. New Braunsfels is what looks to be about a six hour trip for me and I don't think my old truck is quite ready to make a run like that yet. Me and Jesse still have to finish workin the last few bugs out of it.

Please post lots of pics...Since I care for my elderly mother I can only make one trip per year. This year it's the Grand Canyon...Mom's never been and we have a family reunion there this summer.

I can't make it no matter where you have it. That is the problem with living in a corner. I am not going to influence the vote.

2 days til poll closes and since we've had a lull on the votes, I'm calling it for Jellystone Park (OPTION 1)and going to make calls to set up the best date for us
