Brown does the unit come with the pin that push on the MC?
As far as I know yes... I havn't done the swap yet myself. I just researched it and found the part numbers. It's supposed to come with the rod for the brake pedal.
It depends on where you order it Glenn. The guy I talked to at autozone said it came with it... I couldn't look at the actual unit because they have to order it, not kept in stock.
Brown I don't think the auto zone one come with it. I order mine tonight, should be here tomorrow. It remaned and hope it good, Also got a new MC I have to pick up tomorrow, going to take it apart and clean it before I try it.
45 kilopascals (kPa), maybe? Atmospheric pressure is 15-ish psi, so even if it's measured absolutely (as psi below atmospheric), it can't possibly be more than 15. Even in inches Hg, absolute vacuum is only 29.something. According to this chart: Vacuum Pressure - Converting Units , 45 kPa is about 13 in Hg, which is below spec of 17-21.
Ok so I put another new mc in it day and still has a soft pedal. I'm going to try driving it and see how she stops. I was wrong on vacuum. It floats between 15 and 18 psi. When I pump the brakes I can pump it down to about 5. Should this happen? When I get home I will post up a vid and pics.
