Red face Cam sensor
Has any one had troulble with the cam sensor? how hard is it to change?

Very common problem. It takes about ten mins. to change. Get on from ford or international

Welcome to FTE! We have a few members south of the boarder here. The CPS is an easy fix, and a common problem. One wire connector and a bolt (10 mm i think?) is all there is.

Thanks for the info. am in Puerto Penasco, was going to go home today, but the truck is not running very well, I took it to sds mechanic, he is looking for a sensor
we will better prepared next time

we got the truck running and I made it to the USA, the truck wouldnt start in the morning, so is now in the shop getting the wires to the injectors repaired

will it turn over, or nothing at all? could be a sensor, Injector work is extremely expensive and it may not be the root cause. Could it be Glow Plugs?

We have a burnt plug in that goes throught he valve cover on the left front of the motor, and there a hole burnt through the wire inside the valve cover. it has been hard to get parts in this small town, with the weekend and all

it will turn over and even fire, but it sounds like the pistons are going come the side of the motor

Just got the Truck Back $702.00 and we're on the road again.
