Fuel Pressure Sensor/C-E Light

Fuel Pressure Sensor/C-E Light
I have a 2000 Ranger 4 cyl and the CEL is on and it's reading Fuel Pressure Sensor I just replaced the Fuel Pressure sensor the light is still on. I've had to cut the connectors between the 2 and 3 harnesses (middle and back) and had to wired them all together because the connectors were crap. I checked to make sure the Pressure Sensor was getting power and It is.....Any Suggestions?
