Need Help...4x4 problems
Vehicle is 05 F150 4x4. When engaging into 4 wheel drive and turning to the left (going slow), the truck makes a very loud binding noise/Clunk noise on the drivers side of truck.. It is quite loud. After that it is ok.. I am thinking it has to do with the limited slip differiential, but hard to tell exactly where the nose is coming from. I replaced the integrated wheel bearing on the drivers side as that was broken.. Truck ha been brought to garage and put on lift and could not duplicate the noise. Once off the lift it could be duplicated. I need help formthe 4x4 community. Any help is greatly appreciated....
