I installed a front and rear camera with a lockpick last month. Works great. I have mine setup where it automatically goes to the camera in drive until you reach about 5 MPH. Here's a link to the thread I posted.

Not sure what "splain-in" you think is required. The 4D-View system is a 4 camera video controller, the Lockpick is a navigation unlock device that happens to include some rudimentary video input control. The devices are two completely different devices with different core functionality and made by two different companies.

The lockpick device is and has been on the market for quite some time. The 4D-View camera controller is still in development...nothing to explain.
