I've been looking for a project to take with me out of the prairies as a hobby truck and came upon an add for a pretty clean looking '66(it says '67 in the add, but it clearly isn't) with a 300 straight six, 4 speed gearbox with 2 speed rear. They are only asking 800 or trade, and I was thinking of seeing if they'd want my '98 GMC crew cab for trade. Does this look like a good value for the price? BTW, it's a tossup between this and a '40 Ford 3/4 ton, the flathead isn't seized but isn't firing, and since it hasn't been driven since '85 I think the '66 will have less work needed.
I would get the dump truck...its unique...and how often do we see one of those at a truck show vs 40-50s trucks...I wish I were closer...LOL...the grille alone is nearly worth the price...as for the trade...LOL...I love it...
