Hi, I have been busy with the explorer and haven't been here much but now I have a question I know somebody can answer. A friend of mine has a 97 F-150 with a 6 cyl. and automatic with 4 wheel drive. The trans is shot and we have located a 98 150 with 6 cyl. and 4 wheel drive, will this trans work in the 97 or are there differences in the computer which will stopp it from being used in the 97?
