heater core/heat problem

heater core/heat problem
So I posted a thread on here awhile back about not having any heat. Flushed the coolant and still nothing, so I cut in another T into the other hose coming out of the heater core to see if I had flow. Found out there wasn't any so unhooked the lines and back flushed it and flushed it in both directions and and it flows fine. Hooked it back up and now I have some heat, I took the return line cap of the tee while running and there is very little flow not enough to even come out the cap and the supply line comes out just fine. I'm lost now? What would cause this since the core flow thru fine?
