Battery Test Results

I had my batteries tested at a local Interstate yesterday.

I got the following print out back. How do they look to those in the know? I know it says 'good', but is there more to the story?

I just got my FICM back from FICMrepair and I want to make sure everything is ok. Also just mounted a battery tender so that'll now be part of my permanent routine.

Thanks.

Those look pretty good to me. I've never had one tested that read equal to the rated CCA. They are always lower.

Having said that, if they are 48 months old, I would consider changing them before they need it. On a 6.0.

Lower because they're under load.....

Great numbers to me also, and very balanced.

Great! Thanks guys.

I have some $$$ put aside for new batteries because of their age, but I don't want to dump them for the sake of it if they're doing their job.

If you have a gasser or two that are in need of batteries you could put the old ones in them and then have new ones in the diesel.

Just dropped $250 on 2 new ones for our Cummins. They were both the originals from 2001. The other is a Ford Explorer .... I wonder if one of them will fit in there, hmmmm
