I have not gone thru the interieor yet, just superficial stuff.The po cut the dash where the radio goes, i copied some of the pics that have been posted, but if any one can hold a ruler to, or give me some basic measurments so i can eventualy repair the damage it would be greatly apreceiated. Boy there are some absolutly beautifull dashes here.

Jim, if you would like I can trace the '49 radio (mine has someone trimmed to put in a modern deck) and the speaker, Let me know if you would like it and let me know where I can send it to.

Here is the way that I will be trimming the upper section of my dash...not sure if I will carry it through to the door panels like Foose did but the dash cover is definitely planned. I have an extra 56 dash that is out of the truck that I will be using to make a fiberglass overlay to give the the upholstery shop, that way it will be easier to install and/or remove if necessary.

Alright, I know I'm being lazy but it's like 4 degrees outside right now, lol

Only difference is I cleaned up the floor, removed the old air-brake gauge, and washed off the dust.



I do however have this awesome decal on the middle of it I was to find a way to keep:



lol probably nothing you where interested in seeing, but there it is

You could have another decal made up to replace that one...I doubt if they could match the patina though.

I'm going to try a hair blower to soften the glue and fishing line to cut it off. I might just have to protect it and paint around it. If it wasn't original I probably would sand it off lol , its just cool from its history

Where did you get the steering wheel?? It's great! my 53 has all the ***** on the dash also, don't know If I'll hook them up, but planning to replace the key ignition with a push start.
