Duke I was getting some parts for my truck and gave the guy at the parts counter the VIN# and he pulled it up for me
they changed oil cooler covers in 03 and I was checking into which on I had for turbo lines ones the snap in and the other is the bolt on
so if you have to tell them thats what your trying to figure out but maybe they will just tell ya
The data plate on the driver's door jamb will give you the month and year of the build date. If it is the exact build date you seek, you will need to have an OASIS ran on your VIN, or like already posted above, have your local Ford parts counter person tell you when he enters your VIN into Microcat to look up parts for you.
I will try again two dealerships now would not show me the oasis when I was there spending money with them. I dunno maybe Im not cute enough LOL. A friend of mine just got a job at a local dealership though maybe I can talk her into getting it for me They are flippin stingy with that report.
Good Idea benny
Thanks for the info guys
im only asking cause they are talking about the ICP for my truck and it being for trucks built before 9-2003 Just want to get the right one
The ONLY ICP sensor that is correct for a 2003 model year is part number 3C3Z-9F838-EA end of discussion. And if you're looking for the wiring pigtail connector, the part number for it, is 5C3Z-12224-A. Hope this helps.
ok great they both match thanks a ton they have a kit on ebay both of those part numbers bran new free shipping for $69 get the pigtail and the ICP seems like a deal.
Whats an ICP going to set me back? I just changed the Pigtail so really dont need that but I was thinking about trying to change out my icp cause my truck is FREAKING OUT!! lol
