Front Spring Hardware and another question
Hi all. I started a build thread a while ago (and will update it soon, I promise 
). I am at the stage of painting the front 1/3 of the frame and suspension parts. I will be putting it all back together in once the second coat is done, and I resolve my current two issues.
1) I can not find anywhere to get the lower spring retainer. Does anyone know where I can find one for my 2wd 78 F150? I have searched LMC, Blue Oval Ford, JBG, Summit... and nothing.
2) I am finding it hard to paint the inside of the frame from underneath the cross member. I am thinking about removing the rivets for the i-beam pivot bracket and bolting it back on. Anyone see any problem with that?

As I'm more familiar with the 4wd's, I couldn't tell you where to get them other than a scrapyard. As far as the rivets, yes you can grind em off and replace with grade 8's or class 10.9's
