1 bbl on 4 bbl intake
I've been thinking of benefits to using the 1BBL Carter YF on the Offenhauser C manifold. Your power would go up because of increased air flow, you can still use the Offenhauser with the stock exhaust manifold, and there's better fuel distribution.
I was thinking a 1 to 2 adapter on top, then a 2 to 4 adapter on the bottom, with a 1bbl sitting on top of both adapters.

I myself don't want to do this. I'm eventually going to go with a 4bbl, but wanted everyone's thoughts on the idea. Also, throwing it out there in case anyone wanted to know.

Since you are only going to be as strong as your weakest link, you will limit airflow with the 1bbl. Then loose all intake velocity as it drops into the intake, and bottle it back up as it hits the ports in the head. I dont believe it would perform great, but it may get you by until you can get the 4bbl on there. If you save your money on all the adaptors and gaskets it may be easier to buy the carb. Just my .02 worth.
