Changed out 89 5.0 EEC for 93 5.8 EEC, Having problems. HELP!

Changed out 89 5.0 EEC for 93 5.8 EEC, Having problems. HELP!
I swapped out a 5.0 for a 5.8, I kept the 5.0 EEC for a while and the 5.8 ran good on it, but I could tell the 5.0 EEC was holding it back. I was informed on another tread that a E4OD EEC would run and engine/trans combo except for a 4R70W. And a EEC out of a 93 would work in my 89.
So I bought a 5.8/E4OD combo out of a 1993 F150 4x4 5.8/E4OD. The truck has more power, but it doesnt idle now, when I slow down to a stop the engine shuts off.
The CEL is burning and I have loads of codes.
Was I informed wrong? Will the EEC I got not work? Help!

Loads of trans codes, a egr code, and some kinda electronic circulation code.
Heres exactly what I am getting.
Codes: 637,654,565,621,622,629,626,624,332,634,& 637.

No, my truck has the AOD. I kept it when I put the 351w in, because I have already beefed it up.
The 5.8 EEC I got is for a 5.8/E4OD. I was told it would run any engine/ at trans combo. except the 4R70W
