Tailgates.......
I need a tailgate for the 99 I just bought.
I found one off a 04 does anyone know if they interchange?
On kinda the same subject are 04 front ends grill etc the same as a 99?
Like do they look the same or did they change them in 04?
The guy has a 04 grille pretty cheap.

99-12 tailgates will work on our trucks. I think the newer ones take a little modding,but they will work. The frontents are interchangeable 99-04. 05 they changed the lights,grill, and bumper.

I put a 08 (or later) TG on my 2002. The lower hinge is called a "roller" at the Ford parts counter. A new one is only about $13.
