Outer front window molding?
The bottom, outer window weather stripping on my drivers door comes up about 3/4 inch everytime I roll down my window and then roll it back up. It pushes down fine but then always comes right back up with the window. How can I get to this to attach it better and is it going to mean buying a new piece of molding? Thanks.

You can check the clips that hold it down. One or two may have broken off. It is definitley a good possiblity that you will just have to replace it.
I just replaced the outer weatherbelt on the tailgate and it was only $30.

How do I get to that part of the weatherstripping? I had the inner door panel off and I don't think I had access to it from there, but I wasn't really looking for it so I could be wrong.

You have to have the panel off & the window either rolled all the way up or removed. The reach up to the top of the outer skin & you'll feel the clips sticking down thru holes in the attaching lip. Pull them down & to you to try to get their hooks to grab the bottom of the lip. Figure 2 on this page is too big to post, but it shows several details.
