Have finally got the regulators in my 49 cab and the felt is in place and secured now I need to install the glass... Trouble is I dont know how much if any glass should be left hanging over the lift channel on the long side (side with hinges)
If anyone could give me some help on this I would sure appreciate it cause it is getting cold even here in South Alabama and some windows would be nice..
Also any tips on installing the back glass would be welcome to..
I have the window frame ready with everything removed, cut out, and I beleive at the point of simply putting in the windows. I have a long channel (Universal) that will need some adjusting to work but I also have the origional one that is shorter. I have heard that it is ok as long as you run the tape all the way across but not sure and do not want to break the glass or worse have it crack or break going down the road.
Thanks! The universal deal I have the holes don't match so I thought of cutting the peice and sliding it in to the original since it is smaller width wise and using the original under for the regulator to connect to.
