Fel-pro gaskets

so i'm re-building a 352 FE and have a question about the gaskets.
the block is bored .030 over
so will the regular fel-pro head gaskets still work?
basically a set like this Fel-Pro QKS2307 - Fel-Pro Gasket Kit Sets - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Yep but ditch the pan gasket and use ULTRA grey RTV its what all the OEM's do today and works way better! I also do my valve covers with ULTRA grey and never a leak. Or at least upgrade to rubber valve cover gaskets. I also used gasket shellac on the rest of the gaskets.

I've used the steel core rubber gaskets and they leaked. Go with the fel-pro and grey rtv.

rubbbewr valve cover and pan gasket otherwise I've had good luck with them, I like a copper head and exhaust manifold gasket myself but the fel-pros have worked good for me

Yep the std felpro will work fine. The gasket diameter is 4.40" and a 030 over 352 is a 4.03" bore.
I've had better luck with the cork or RTV than the rubber VC gaskets. Seems kind of hit or miss just based on the responses so far. Maybe it depends on which VC you have.
Many people, myself included, don't use the end seals on the intake either. Just a bead of The Right Stuff. Some people use them with success, but it's common to find them being pushed out in short order.

ok. thanks for all the feedback guys.
sleepy hit the nail on the head w/ the gasket diameter measurement. (i just didnt know the proper verbiage for it)
4.40" make sense, b/c then as advertised the gaskets would work on anything from a 332 to a 428.
good to know

When you get the kit check the VC gaskets, I got set of SBF in a Felpro FE kit once. I like the rubber ones but only on the valve covers with the wide notches that can hold the gasket by the ears. If you decide to use the intake end gaskets, trim the bottom ends 45 degrees so they will fit neatly into the side gasket notches.

I agree with sleepy, bead of RTV or Right Stuff on the intake, those gaskets don't stay put on any motor I've ever built

I just broke apart my OE 352. The oil pan gasket had been glued to the block as were the front and rear intake gaskets. The VC gaskets were glued to the intake. Forgot how the timing cover went The head, intake and the other side of the glued gaskets were installed with grease or dry and easily pulled off. Thats the way Ford did it in 1965.

I did too, mostly, and am glad I did because I ended up taking each one of those covers off for some error I made on the build. Not a problem with the grease, I just re-used 'em. Had I used the Right Stuff I would be still scraping it off today! When I get better I will consider it.
