First to say, I am new to the SD forum but have been around for a few years on the old listservs. Used to hang around the 67-72 and 73-79 lists. I have a 64 and a 72, both short/wides, also but neither of them are running right now.
Yesterday, I purchased a 95 F250 extended cab SD 7.3 Powerstroke. It has the automatic tranny. 236,000 miles. Last night was the first time I drove it after dark. The OD off light was blinking. It still works to turn OD off and on. Just blinks. I didn't notice anything other than that tho. It runs great otherwise.
Due to the miles, the steering is a little loose but that is to be expected and is something I can take care of.
I searched but only found a couple of other posts about the OD light blinking. None of them sounded too promising. Am I looking at a serious problem here?
Also, it didn't have any of the owner manuals with it. I need to know stuff like the oil and water capacities, maintenance intervals and when to change the filters(I heard there are are a lot of them on a diesel).

You need your VIN to get the specifics, but it is very cool. Sorry I can't help with the OD light, other than a piece of black electrical tape over it.
