"door ajar" switch......where lube?

"door ajar" switch......where lube?
I have 2 related problems........my "door ajar" warning lite stays on..........and my dome lite sometimes stays on.
I know people in this group have had success with lubing the switches.
I've looked and looked, and I cannot see where to direct a spray of contact cleaner or WD40.
I'm looking in the area of the latch on the door. Right place? or wrong place?
VERY specifically, where do I direct my spray? Up, down......my left, my right?
I s the switch that I wanna spray located somewhere other than at the door latch?
Does the same switch control both the warning message, and the dome lite?
