I've got two issues irritating me right now. The first is my truck randomly stalls. The first time I was really low on fuel and id died right as I started filling it up. I just figured I hit a little air when I stopped. It started right up. Now, it usually does it when I'm coming to a stop. I had the UVC harness replaced back in 02. Is it possible that this is the problem again?
The second problem is my batteries draining overnight. Both were replaced about a year ago and I took them to Autozone and they test fine. The charging system tests fine. The only thing "on" when the vehicle is off is the led's on my brake controller. But that has been that way for years. Other than that, I've replaced the starter and the fuel pump over the past year, but this discharging issue just starter a couple of months ago. Usually if it's just overnight it's fine. Though one night I parked it at 11PM and it was drained at 7AM. If it sits for two days?? fugettaboutit!! She's dead. Any ideas? Can both problems be connected somehow? They started about the same time.
Maybe you have something shorting out intermittently? I too am chasing a stalling problem. You can put an amp clamp on your battery cable and start pullng fuses one by one to find where the draw is.
