Trans installation ?

Hopefully I can install my Trans on Saturday but should I use locktite for the converter bolts. Also should I re-torque the flywheel bolts to?

Using some blue Loctite couldn't hurt. My TC has studs and I simply reused the locking nuts and torqued them to 26 ft-lbs. Wouldn't hurt to check the torque on the flexplate-to-crankshaft bolts also. 89 ft-lbs

The torque converter nuts need to be new. They are torque retaining nuts that don't need locktite.

Looks like Roland and Mark have you set straight.

Also take a look at your starter mounting plate. If you have had any issues with starter bolts backing out now is the time to replace the plate or at least helicoil/timesert the holes. Up-pipes leaking at all? Just some thoughts...

Chris has a TC that uses bolts, instead of studs and nuts. That is why I suggested the blue Loctite.
