Saying nothing will change until bigger tires are installed is probably incorrect. You are raising the front of the truck, so you are effecting the aerodynamics of the truck. Is it enough to make a noticeable drop in MPG? Maybe, but ever so slightly.
Larger wheels and or tires will be the biggest contributor to a drop in mileage.
You may loss 1 MPG but I don't think you would notice the difference unless you put larger tires on to fill up the area is what Ford Again was meaning I think. The kit by itself should not really affect much.
Just know too that it will put your geometry out for your alignment.While some on this forum are able to achieve 'perfect' alignment, the increased angle does wear your ball joints and tie rod ends at a faster rate as well..not by much but definitely faster than usual. I've had my level kit on for 120k and have gone through 4 each side. Also if you don't have a real reason to other than aesthetics i wouldn't do it personally. the only reason I have mine was because I was always getting stuck at my ranch with stock height and tires....
