i have a 1976 F-250 2 wd 428 CJ and a T-18.

 

well...i just finally got my 390 running again, i put a mallory VIa igintion on it, the timing is way off, but it still accerlates like nobodys business, i picked that up for 110 plus 20 for an accel 40kvolt coil, i'd definately suggest a new igition, i've heard higher end cranes(the $200 version) get a little better performance. After that i've got hedman headers on order and i'm trusting edelbrock with the intake and 750 carb, i can let you know how it all goes, i've also got a b and m shift kit, for 25 bucks, so i figure i couldn't go wrong, plus a $30 mini spool is in the works (word has it those things kick butt, if you don't abuse them extremely hard)
