One owner car,i bought in 1964 new. Has been changed and rebuilt a number of times. Gave it to my daughter ,she is buying all of the parts ,ect. i need . I'm doing the work free mainly because i did the same thing for my son on his 56 fairlane , 12 years ago and his has never came after it yet. Thats it in the back ground ,it has sat there so long that it needs to be redone. The 56 has been driven 20 miles since rebuilding and that was 12 years ago.I'l see if i can get a few more pictures up of the falcon.

That's the good thing about the south west part of idaho,it's pretty dry ,very little humidity, yet it's not real hot like the desert states farther south. They don't use salt on the icy roads in the winter,so a car from this area is pretty solid. I did keep it clean on the under side all these years which helped a lot on the floor pan's. Thanks for looking at the pictures I have a lot more stored on my pc. JIM....

Original 64 falcon "Guardsman"medium blue .I think thats the only year they used that name . I think it was on other fords under a different name, ford did that a lot, same paint different name depending one which one they were using. Ford has other medium blues but they are a little lighter color. My two tone 79 f-150 had a blue allmost like it only a little lighter.

It looks great. It looked lighter then "Guardsman" blue in that picture. It almost looked like what I want to paint my truck. I'm going with Bahama Blue. It's a little darker then Grabber blue. It's pretty close to the old Ford blue engine paint.

Yep pictures don't allways come out right,i took these with a phone camera. It looks a little different live. I believe a friend of mine painted one with a Mopar color and it looked more like this. It may have been the "Grabber blue" which i have seen. This paint i used this time never had the "Guardsman " name on it and it was not a good paint to work with . Ha,ha, since i gave this car to my kids,i'm not going to tell them i never used the original "Guardsman" name paint. They might want me to do it over and i'm not about to ,unless my son inlaw wants to start sanding and prepping the body again,ha ha. I'm done with it when i get it back together,ha ha.___Thanks for the interest . I look forward to seeing your truck when you do it. _______JIM
