Tank Shields

I replaced my rear fuel tank last week and noticed the shields are starting to rot through. I checked LMC but no luck. Anyone have a source for these?

The shields were only used on 4x4s.

There is no aftermarket support for them.

Your best bet is to go and find one at the wreckers that is in better shape.

Do you mean skid plates? I just took mine off and used the straps. The straps were on mine, but where on the top. I just took the plates off(they hold the tank in place) and transferred the unused straps from the top to the bottom. I guess the factory put them up there for this purpose.
