I have a 2001 f250 extended cab 4x4 that I just bought and the extended cab driver side rear door is not latching at bottom so the bottom of the door sticks out farther than the top. The other side looks great though. Any ideas?

Are the jaws closed... then your trying to slam the door closed some more. this is all i can think of that would make the door stick out
Open the door... then hold the handle in the open position, simotaniously reach down and try to pry the jaws open... if this is the problem then you need to determine if it needs cleaned and relubed, or replace due to broken springs...
Iffffffffffff, it dosnt open, then you may have an operating rod poped off the inside. you will need to take the panel off the inside and fish around to find the prob...
Hope this helps
Also might want to check to make sure the welds on the bottom of the door are intact. They've been known to fail and cause the outer skin to separate from the inner door.
