again, because the "kits" are just thrown into halogen housings by most yahoo's there is no cut off. There fore it just throws out the amount of light as if somebody has their brights on. Worst thing to ever happen to automotive lighting was stupid chinese 50 dollar HID kits so every ******* on the road can throw them into improperly fitted housings...
Maybe that's the case...I don't know. I do know I've had morons in Ricers come up behind me in the rain with those blue headlights that about blinds me. Maybe it helps them see where they're going...but they're blinding me. A pet-peave of mine is folks that drive down the road for miles with their brights on (OEM or HID) following folks who are completely blinded because of the light in their mirrors. And they seem to be obvious to it. I seem to notice it's Sliverado/Tahoe drivers allot times...but not always.

Had to check, thought it might be worth moving to WA if you seeing stuff like that on a regular basis.
dukie1877, did you adjust them after the 6.5" of lift ? That and the larger tires could be why your getting flashed. My 03 F-350 is stock height and people act like I have my high beams on fairly often. Last inspection the inspector said they were correct. ? ? ? ?
ive got the ddm tuning kit! great kit and love it! the high beams arent that good but you honestly dont need them the lows are BRIGHT! i dont get flashed hardly ever with them either because i got them adjusted correctly. again great kit and ive ordered a set now for my dad and brother for their trucks.
I'm in aggrement with most comments except that drivers can be catagorized by thier choice of transportation. Last week I towed a trailer load of building material about 150 yards behind my grandson who was driving an empty pick-up about 15 yards behind his dad towing a 25' long X 10' wide load. We were running 40 mph down a fairly straight and level 2 lane road with narrow shoulders. All kinds of vehicles were well represented that pulled in between us from cross roads and by overtaking us then not passing for miles and/or making unexpected and risky manuvers. I returned home over the same route with the empty trailer running 70 mph. Vehicles that overtook me rarly waited more than 2 miles before standing on it and passing. All this in an area where loads of hay, cattle, farm equipment towed and driven is an every day thing.
More on subject of head lamps,it is much needed and seemingly simple technogily to have patrol cars equiped to measure intensity of on coming lights.
