Scangauge II ???
I feel like i am the dumbest guy on here sometimes. I cannot get my new scangauge to read any of the x-gauges I load in it??? I have tried over and over and cant figure this thing out. Very frustrating to finally have this great tool and i cant get it to work so i can give you guys the INFO you all have asked for in many attempts to help me get my truck fixed. all it will read is the preloaded gauges it comes with. my one question is when loading the codes there is sometimes a BOX/COMPUTER SYMBOL first before the numbers begin. does this belong there? what is the purpose? Again thanks to any and all who has and will continue to try and help me out!
Here is a quick video on entering Xgauges.

Not sure if you are entering these with the key on or off. After entering them, turn key off then turn back on. You also might want to unplug the unit from the OBD2 port for a moment with key off, then plug back in and turn the key back on. Make sure you are using Capital letters.
Happy New Year!

After you have entered a few, you will be able to cruise right through them.
Even though I am very comfortable with entering these gauges, seems I will add an extra 0 or something. Triple check your entries, and make sure your finger is on the right line you are entering from ! LOL
Remember also, the SGII reads the Xgauges from #24 - #0
So, I entered mine alphabetically from #24 =A to #0=Z
Have fun!

Its more with the "FILLUP" option... In the book it says to use fillup only if you do a complete fill on the truck....That way it resets the computer to a full tank.... And normal readings can continue...
I guess my question comes down to, "If I only put 30 Litres of Diesel in my truck, will the Scangauge automatically compensate for the extra 30 Litres in the tank??? Will it change my "20 Litres to empty" to "50 Litres to empty" on its own???
Will my MPG and KM to Empty automatically adjust??

If you use the "FILLUP" Button While only putting in 30 litres, it tells itself you filled the truck to capacity (110L) while in reality you only have 50 Litres in the Tank...
If the tank is not full, the To Empty information will
not be accurate and you must be sure not to make
an adjustment before pressing DONE the next time
you fill-up.
The ScanGauge allows you to change the adjustment
factor directly if less than 1 gallon/liter has been used
since the previous fil-up sequence was done.
It is not necessary to make an adjustment each time
you refuel.
You can press HOME>MORE>FILLUP>DONE when
you refuel. This will restart the TANK TO EMPTY Trip
computer without changing the adjustment factor.

Not sure if this covers my question... But thanks for your input....
Its tough to understand their statement you Copied and Pasted for me...
I have done the "FILLUP" procedure where I filled right full, Drove truck till 1/4 tank, then filled full AGAIN so the computer then can see what I have used in what distance, and in what time...
NOW, I am back down to 1/4 tank, Scangauge says I have 250km to empty.... I then put 30 litres of Diesel in the truck...... WILL THE SCANGAUGE ADJUST THE Km's per Empty Automatically, or will it only Adjust if you do a "FILLUP" Procedure???
