Well this summer seems to be a camper one. The family and I have never been camping so we've decided to Gator done. My wife and I have 5 kids and a 85lbs male pitbull name Simba. We will not be renting a camper as we will like to experience the full experience. (Don't worry, have my zombie kit). I been looking into some roof racks that don't make the truck look like a shopping cart when not in use. Or a removable one. Any Ideas?
Check your local wrecking yards for the ones that tour companies have made for the large 15 passenger vans. They are made wide enough and long enough and strong enough. I have inside info on this. LOL
Finally able to do some upgrades to the gal. The clock reads 24k miles on my '05 limited. Looks like an SCT livewire and FICM flash first to get my mileage back to where it should be after the "Ford Recall Flash". The bullet proof stuff for the 6.0 is being priced and referenced. Still deciding on where/what to go with this. The lift struts are a must. What a pile of crock the stock ones are made of.
The rest I am sure from your EX mods will give me more ideas.
The rig is primarily to get me to the track or if needed to be a follow rig for longer family trips. So new pirelli's A/T's are being used.
One of two things I will be getting for the X. Either a dvd/navi unit OR autoenginuity.
LOL. Don't kid yourself. We know that you will have both, just maybe not at the same time. Especially with all of us telling you how good both of those are to have.
Use the deck every day, and the AE comes in handy. Right now I'm chasing what feels like a miss fire.
The first major upgrade coming up is the DVD/camera for me. I have enough devices with GPS in them I dont need the built in Navi. I have access to several OTC/Snapon scan tools, But I am looking at the Autoenginuity as my personal MT2500 Snap on can only go up to 2001 and is not supported any more. That'll be later down the road.
For me in Dash DVD, touch screen, back up camera, new speakers and new black front and rear Bumpers. Maybe Iron Cross? 08 tow power mirror. Then probably and a new black front grill and recon front headlights
I have a 2000 Limited 4X4 V10 that I plan to tow a travel trailer for maybe three years.

4 Load E tires (had load D, idky?)
5 Tail light
6 spray in bed liner behind the speakers
7 drivers seat rebuilt
8 4 hyper color hey fobs and keys programmed
More i can't remember right now

2 Hellwig sway bar for the rear
3 04' hitch (12500)
4 Scan gauge or Elm 327 reader
5 05' headlights and grill ( maybe Speaker LED headlights!)
6 07' towing mirrors
7 Led interior lighting
8 safari rack on top
9 K&N air filter
10 EZ Drain valve
11 OEM Fog lights and switch
12 Rear hatch struts ( the long ones)
13 DRL mod
14 Front 4wd locks
15 biggest baddest deep cycle battery I can fit under the hood
16 Big inverter

= 0)
Is it too early to welcome you to the 9 seat club?
I have adjustable extended hellwig rear sway bar links somewhere in shipping.
If any ones gets the rear bar and upgrades springs make sure you get the adjustable links.
Now that I have an idea on tax refund I will have an new 50" led bar on order soon to mount to front of safari rack. Woohoo
I should be joining the club soon! =o). Wallz- you should look at szaurora.com for your light bar. I here they are a direct copy of ridgid industries lights.
